The order of the ceremony was relatively normal. First, Rev. DeLuxe read a short sermon, then everyone hiked up to the bridge. It was once everyone was on the top of the bridge that we had the Circular Reading, in which each ritual participant reads a randomly selected passage from The Books of Tina. Then Rev. DeLuxe blessed the sacrificial victims with The Holy Vegetable and Fire (symbolised by The Sacred Object of The Church), after which the Sacrificing commenced in earnest.

One thing that was discovered very quickly was that George Revolgurd is an extremely inspiring reader. His scripture reading was full of feeling, well modulated, and very inspiring indeed, even for those to whom the message was not direct and personal. We hope that George will be inspired to attend future Rituals, so that we may enjoy his excellent scripture readings again.

The Sacred Object played a prominent part in this Ritual, primarily because Princess Amorphous had read and heard a great deal about it and was very interested to actually see The Object in physical reality. Because of her participation in the Public Ritual, she was awarded the degree of Recognized Spider, and thus was allowed to see the reverse side of The Object as well, something which she found very exciting.
